Premier League Drama: Wieffer’s Double Fires Brighton, Dewsbury-Hall Saves Everton

Brentford opened the scoring through Igor Thiago from the penalty spot after a foul by goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, before Everton responded through Beto, who headed in an equaliser. Thiago restored Brentford’s advantage with a deflected effort, but Dewsbury-Hall struck deep into added time amid heavy rain to earn Everton a crucial draw. The result leaves Brentford seventh on goal difference, level on points with Everton, as both sides continue to chase European qualification.
