The Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Sheriff Oborevwori, was spotted kneeling before  Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to thank him during a praise session after his emergence as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

The party’s governorship primary was held on Wednesday, May 25. Oborevwori polled a total of 597 votes out of total of 824 ballots cast by delegates at the primary.
