ireporteronline reports that Obasanjo was warmly received by Kwankwaso and the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, upon his arrival at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Aisha Kwankwaso is set to wed her fiancé, Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal, in an elaborate ceremony scheduled at the Kofar Kudu Palace of the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Dr. Muhammadu Sanusi II.

Other notable figures in attendance include former Senate President Bukola Saraki and Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Saraki confirmed his presence via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, expressing joy at being part of the occasion. Vice President Shettima also arrived early to participate in the grand celebration.
