Why We Should Support the Government:

Supporting the government in delivering its mandate is not just about following the law; it is rooted in the Bible’s teachings. The Bible instructs us to obey and respect authority as long as it doesn’t conflict with our faith in God. The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Romans, emphasizes this point:

“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” – Romans 13:1

The Federal Government is dedicated to investing in transportation infrastructure, encompassing public transit systems, to offer cost-effective and efficient options to private vehicle utilization. Furthermore, substantial investments in various other infrastructural projects are in the planning stages.

“For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?” – Luke 14:28

5 Deregulate the Market: Allowing market forces to determine prices while preventing dishonesty is aligned with the principles of fairness and honesty found in the Bible.

“Unequal weights and unequal measures are both alike an abomination to the Lord.” – Proverbs 20:10

6 Efficient Refineries: Resuming refinery operations speaks to the biblical principle of being diligent and productive in our work.

Absolutely, the forthcoming resumption of the Port Harcourt Refinery (PH Refinery) next month, with the Kaduna refinery to follow, and the Warri refinery already in good shape, signifies a momentous achievement within Nigeria’s energy sector.

This development serves as a crucial component of the comprehensive strategy aimed at addressing the challenges related to fuel subsidies and propelling the nation toward greater self-sufficiency in petroleum product production.

“Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.” – Proverbs 22:29

7 Anti-Corruption Measures: Implementing anti-corruption measures reflects the importance of integrity and righteousness found in the Bible.
