Tears As Families Pay Last Respects, Military Lays 22 To Rest After Niger State Attacks (PHOTOS)

On Friday, family members and friends of the twenty-two military personnel who tragically lost their lives on August 14 were present as the Nigerian Armed Forces conducted the funeral rites in Abuja.

The solemn ceremony took place at the National Military Cemetery and saw the participation of personnel from the ranks and files of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Dignitaries in attendance included notable figures such as Muhammed Badaru, the Minister of Defence; Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence; Yakubu Garba, the Deputy Governor of Niger State; Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff; and other high-ranking service chiefs.
