According to Ireporter Online, reality TV star Teddy A has expressed his preference for a marriage structure where both partners are financially active, stating that he does not support the idea of a stay-at-home wife.

Speaking during a recent roundtable discussion on Echo Room, the former Big Brother Naija housemate explained that he values mutual financial growth in relationships and is comfortable being with a successful partner. He noted that building wealth together as a couple ensures long-term benefits that both partners can enjoy later in life.

Teddy A further stated that while he appreciates the idea of a “high-value” partner, he also believes that submission plays a crucial role in sustaining a healthy marriage, adding that relationships may face challenges when it is absent.

In his words, he emphasized that he prefers a dynamic where both individuals contribute economically, stressing that shared effort strengthens future stability and enjoyment of their joint achievements.

His remarks come amid ongoing social media speculation about tensions in his marriage with actress Bambam, his former Big Brother Naija co-star. The rumours gained traction after users noticed both parties had unfollowed each other on Instagram, with further speculation arising following separate Valentine’s Day posts earlier in the year. However, neither Teddy A nor Bambam has publicly addressed the reports.

The couple, who met during the 2018 BBNaija “Double Wahala” edition, got married in 2019 in Dubai and have since welcomed two children, in 2020 and 2022.
