According to reports, Nigerian singer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has responded to online critics who question his educational background. The entertainer, who commands millions of followers on social media, expressed that insults about his lack of higher education do not affect him.

Peller stated, “People will call me uneducated and an illiterate, but when I check their profile pictures, it’s often those who look the most broke and useless.” The music star maintains an active presence on TikTok, where he has over 13 million followers, but rarely engages on Instagram, despite having 2.2 million followers there. He explained that his limited use of Instagram is largely for professional branding purposes.

The singer attended Providence Primary School and Frontrunner Academy in Ikorodu, Lagos State, but has not pursued further formal education. His remarks have generated widespread attention on social media, sparking both admiration for his confidence and debate over the importance of formal education in achieving long-term success.

Reactions from netizens have been varied. While some praised Peller’s self-assurance, others highlighted that formal schooling remains valuable. The video capturing his comments has gone viral on TikTok and other platforms, reinforcing his position as one of Nigeria’s most discussed entertainers.
