Speaking at the commencement of the Agric Mechanisation Revolution for Food Security in Minna, the Niger State capital, Tinubu emphasized his commitment to implementing the necessary measures to revamp the country’s finances and steer it towards progress.

Rejecting the temptation to dwell on the past, Tinubu stressed the importance of taking immediate action and forging ahead on the right trajectory. He urged Nigerians to prioritize perseverance and consistency in overcoming present obstacles, highlighting the transformative potential of such resilience.

“It’s time for Nigeria to confront challenges and transform them into economic opportunities,” Tinubu asserted, underscoring the need to prioritize agricultural development and support farming communities.

Furthermore, Tinubu addressed the issue of economic sabotage perpetrated by herders whose livestock damage farmlands. Expressing empathy for affected farmers, he pledged to tackle the root causes of this conflict and provide comprehensive solutions.

Acknowledging the crucial role of state governments in resolving land-related issues, Tinubu pledged to present a detailed plan within a few weeks to address the challenges posed by roaming cattle and mitigate the economic losses incurred by farmers.
