The governor conveyed his satisfaction during a press briefing at the Supreme Court premises in Abuja following the affirmation of his election.

He acknowledged the leadership of the NNPP, particularly Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, and urged his opponent, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the APC, and their supporters to collaborate for the state’s development.

Governor Abba emphasized the need for visionary and committed leadership to address the diverse needs of Kano’s citizens across the state.

He expressed gratitude to the people of Kano for their support, prayers, and resilience, as well as to the Supreme Court Judges for upholding judicial integrity.

Additionally, he commended President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima for maintaining a non-interference stance despite external pressures.
