The airline confirmed one fatality and multiple injuries among the 211 passengers and 18 crew on board the Boeing 777-300ER.
The airline stated on Facebook that it was collaborating with Thai authorities to provide medical assistance to the affected passengers and was dispatching a team to Bangkok for further support. Meanwhile, Thai authorities have deployed ambulances and emergency teams to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Details regarding the specific events aboard the flight remain unclear. Turbulence during flights can range from mild bumps to severe jolts, caused by irregular or unpredictable air movements.
