Koro, situated in Kwara, is the neighboring town of Irele/Oke Ako/Ipao/Oke Aiyedun and Ikole, sharing boundaries with Ekiti State where two monarchs were recently murdered.

The spokesperson of the Kwara State Police command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, confirmed the devastating incident in the early hours of Friday. She assured the public that immediate and intensive investigations are underway to swiftly apprehend the criminals responsible for this reprehensible act.

“We assure the public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly,” Toun declared.

Security measures in the Koro community have been escalated, with tactical teams mobilized to reinforce security and ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

CP Victor Olaiya urged the public to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative as the police work tirelessly to unravel the matter, apprehend the culprits, and bring them to justice.
