Neighbors revealed that the couple had a heated argument on Saturday, escalating to a point where Bayo purportedly beat Sarah to death before ending his own life.

A distressing video circulating online captures the aftermath, showing the lifeless bodies of the couple lying in a pool of blood. According to Sarah’s sister, Layor, a neighbor had previously hinted in June 2023 about the abuse Sarah was enduring from her boyfriend. Layor confronted her sister, who denied the claims. She also reported the matter to the Nigerian police, but they stated that action couldn’t be taken until Sarah reported the incident herself.

Confirming the tragic incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed that the bodies of Adebayo Adeseko, 30, and Adesanya Sarah, 36, were discovered at their home in Ojodu. Investigations have commenced to unravel the true circumstances leading to their deaths.
