Reno Omokri, former aide to Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the report of Abia state government spending over N900 million on the feeding and welfare from July to September 2023.

Earlier, reports emerged that a budget performance report indicated that the government spent N927 million within three months on refreshments and meals, allowance, settlement of honorarium and welfare packages.

Omokri took to social media and wrote: Look at the Labour Party that said they are the change Nigeria needs.

Their government in Abia state spent almost ₦1 billion on feeding and welfare in just three months. Imagine this monumental recklessness!

Even Tinubu, that is President has not spent that much in three months, and Obi and his Obidients are criticising him viciously.

Now watch them and their Arise Peoples Party pretend they have not heard of the shameful waste of taxpayers’ funds in Abia.

They are too busy praying for the Naira to collapse against the dollar so they can dance naked for Tinubu.

We no dey give shishi. But they give themselves billions! These are the people that want to fix Nigeria? More like fleece Nigeria!
