[BREAKING] Sit-At-Home: One Feared Killed As Enugu Traders Protest Sealing Of Shops (VIDEOS)

During a protest at Ogbete Main Market in Enugu State, it was feared that one person lost their life on Wednesday.

The traders were demonstrating against the state government’s action of sealing off some commercial banks and numerous shops for reportedly complying with an illegal Monday sit-at-home order enforced by a faction of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Enugu and other South-East states.

The Enugu State government had previously issued warnings that shops of those who refuse to open on Mondays due to the sit-at-home order would be sealed off.

In response to the protest, the Enugu State Police Command dispersed the traders and urged them to return to their businesses and clear the streets.
