Ortom Welcomes Alia’s Decision To Investigate His Administration

Ortom emphasized that such an investigation into his administration’s actions and decisions would aid Alia in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the situation and could potentially put an end to what he perceives as a media trial by the government.

Ortom made these remarks in response to an earlier statement attributed to Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Alia, announcing Alia’s intention to probe the actions and decisions of the previous administration.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Terver Akase, Ortom acknowledged Alia’s decision, considering it a positive step that would facilitate the uncovering of facts. Alia’s probe reportedly includes scrutiny of the proposed cargo airport and the leasing of the state’s liaison offices in Abuja and Lagos during Ortom’s tenure.
