An Esan patriot by name Dr(Mrs)Evelyn Ailuosafe penned the above heartfelt column in reaction to the series of mudslinging reports against an officer and a gentleman -Gen Cecil Onosolease Esekhaigbe ret, PhD. I had to go surfing the social and conventional media to connect the raison d’etre for the column.

For want of space,I will mention a few that I saw viz: 2 malicious and reckless video broadcast by some economic refugees in Europe sponsored by some frustrated politicians who have lost touch with the reality that decent men and women have invaded the political space. I also saw some irresponsible attacks on the genuine efforts of a prophetic Esan icon to midwife a selection of a sole candidate out of the chaotic army of ASPIRANTS.

Not forgetting the unsubstantiated allegations of being monetarily and materially induced to scuttle his own project  even at the last hour of birthing a candidate. Ninety-nine percent of the persons that know him would quickly debunk this as an area you cannot find the gentleman wanting. Dr Evelyn Ailuosafe saw tomorrow from far away Cambridge- England displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the “People’s General” in her apt description of him as a man who has done so much for Esanland. 

I have to refer to the column today because the false alarm bells of betrayal of Esan Agenda have automatically stopped ringing fir obvious reasons and the naysayers put to permanent shame. The Okanlete of Esanland has been vindicated and whether publicly acknowledged or not by the beneficiaries of his tireless efforts,the Esanland would continue to remember him positively.  

Like Evelyn advised the General,continue to do your best and don’t be distracted. I enjoin the readers of this article to please read  the original article from Dr Evelyn fir ease of understanding There will be many more of conspiracy theories and futile attempts to distract you from taking the project to its logical conclusion. They will go further to blackmail you before the candidate and your party leadership but don’t take your eyes off the BALL. Those who denigrated your efforts would be the new champions of the project. I know you enough for over 40 years from  youth in school and I can attest to your discipline,selflessness love for humanity.  May God continue to bless you and yours for  being a LIGHT TO THE DARK WORLD. AMEN.
