Quandt, a German billionaire, amassed his wealth primarily through his substantial 23.6 percent ownership in BMW. Alongside his sister Susanne Klatten, a prominent figure in the German automotive scene, Quandt plays a pivotal role on BMW’s supervisory board.

Robin Zeng, a Chinese entrepreneur renowned as the founder and chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), claims the third spot with a net worth of $28 billion. Zeng’s prominence underscores China’s growing influence in the global automotive arena.

Susanne Klatten, valued at $27.2 billion, occupies the fourth position, leveraging her significant 19 percent ownership in BMW. Her contributions have solidified her status as a leading figure in the automotive industry, making her the fourth wealthiest billionaire in the sector.

Rounding out the top five is Eric Li, also known as Li Shufu, a distinguished Chinese venture capitalist and chairman of Geely Automobile Holding, with a net worth of $18.6 billion. Li’s contributions reflect China’s burgeoning presence in shaping the future of automobiles worldwide.
