Edolites In Unstoppable Jubilation Moments After Federal High Court Confirmed Yusuf Kadiri As LP’s Deputy Governorship Candidate!
Written By Oshiobugie John
Yesterday, the Federal High Court in Abuja delivered a groundbreaking judgment affirming Alhaji Yusuf Asamah Kadiri, SAN, as the Deputy Governorship candidate for the Labour Party ahead of the highly anticipated Edo State gubernatorial election on September 21, 2024.
The Court’s declaration that the nomination process for Alhaji Kadiri not only met but “over-complied” with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Electoral Act, and the Labour Party’s constitutional guidelines is a monumental victory.
The Court further directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately accept, process, and publish Alhaji Kadiri’s name in the official list of candidates, cementing his place in the upcoming election.
Since this electrifying news broke, Edolites have been in a state of unstoppable jubilation. Alhaji Kadiri is widely celebrated as the perfect complement to Olumide Akpata’s gubernatorial ambition, a duo poised to transform Edo State.
Indeed, with Akpata and Kadiri leading the charge, Edolites are optimistic about a future filled with unprecedented growth and prosperity.
