During the visit, Shettima flagged off the distribution of tractors and Jangwa Paddy rice to the state’s 13 local governments and also provided relief items for victims of the 2024 flood disaster. The Vice President reiterated that the federal administration would stand by the state to improve the lives of its people.

Governor Sule Reshuffles Cabinet, Dissolves Commissioners
In a separate development, Governor Abdullahi Sule announced the dissolution of all commissioners and the state’s secretary to the government, urging them to hand over government properties to the relevant permanent secretaries. The move aims to open doors for new leadership while ensuring continued progress. Sule expressed gratitude for the outgoing officials’ contributions and hinted that some might return to serve in future roles.

Additionally, Shettima performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the One-Stop Investment Centre and Multi-Door Courthouse in Lafia, marking a step towards greater infrastructure development, funded by the World Bank’s SABER initiative.
