Seni Saraki Bags First Grammy – Bukola Saraki Celebrates Big Win (Video)

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has congratulated his son, Seni, on winning his first Grammy Award at the 67th Academy Grammy Awards.

Expressing his pride on social media, Saraki praised his son’s dedication and passion, stating:
“Congratulations, Seni, on winning your first Grammy for your work on the Bob Marley: One Love soundtrack! Seeing your passion recognized on a global stage is an indescribable joy. We are super proud of you!”

Seni, in his reaction, expressed gratitude to all the artists and producers who contributed to the project, including Nigeria’s Wizkid and Bloody Civilian.

“I appreciate all the amazing artists, producers, and engineers who took on this project, honoring Bob Marley’s legacy in their own way—artists like Wizkid, Bloody Civilian, Daniel Caesar, and Jessie Reyez,” he said.

The Bob Marley: One Love soundtrack accompanies a biographical film depicting the reggae legend’s journey and how his music shaped the world.

This is not Seni’s first major project. In 2023, he served as a music consultant for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, which received four Grammy nominations.

Seni, a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, is the CEO of The Native, a Lagos-based music and culture magazine he co-founded in 2016 with Teni ‘Teezee’ Zaccheaus.
