The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has been appointed Chairman of the House of Representatives Adhoc Committee on Illegal Mining, a development described as pivotal in the fight against resource-related crimes.

According to IReporter Online, the announcement was made by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, during plenary on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
