Ex-Militants Join Forces With Delta Transport Boss To Boost Oborevwori And Tinubu’s Political Surge!
In a significant show of political and communal unity, Hon. Onoriode Agofure, Delta State Commissioner of Transport, today warmly hosted Chief Ese Arigo, the National Chairman of Urhobo Ex-Militants and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, along with key executive members, during their official courtesy visit at Asaba, according to iReporter Online.
The meeting, characterized by open and constructive dialogue, marked the beginning of what promises to be a strong collaboration between Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration and Urhobo ex-militant stakeholders, iReporter Online reports.
Chief Arigo praised Commissioner Agofure’s transformative leadership in rebranding Delta State’s transport infrastructure, highlighting that the Commissioner is not only a recipient of praise but also an active partner in the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, according to iReporter Online.
Further, Chief Arigo called for the integration of Urhobo Ex-Militants into upcoming empowerment programs, urging that the group be included in broader developmental initiatives.
In response, Commissioner Agofure pledged government support for including ex-militants in state-sponsored projects aimed at economic empowerment and urged the group to embrace peace as a foundation for progress.
Commissioner Agofure also encouraged the ex-militants to back Governor Oborevwori and President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s second-term ambitions, describing them as leaders of vision, stability, and community growth.
This visit underscores a growing partnership between the Delta State Government and Urhobo Ex-Militants, with Chief Arigo reaffirming his commitment to support the MORE Agenda.
