Doris Ogala Says Sorry To Akpororo: “It Was Out Of Anger

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has issued a public apology to comedian Akpororo over previous threats to release intimate videos of him. In an Instagram post, Ogala explained that her statements were made out of anger and sought to clarify any misunderstandings arising from her comments.

The tension between the two entertainers reportedly began when Akpororo intervened in a public dispute between Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor. Akpororo had advised Ogala to take the matter off social media and resolve it privately, noting that criticisms against Okafor were partly due to his pastoral position. He also cautioned that overexposure of the issue online made Ogala appear to be overreacting.

Ogala initially rejected his counsel, arguing that he did not understand the seriousness of her situation and had no right to dictate how she should handle it. She defended her public statements as necessary for her safety and accused Akpororo of hypocrisy, suggesting his advice may have been influenced by benefits received from Okafor. At one point, she threatened to expose alleged past misconduct involving women if he continued his interference.

Akpororo responded by challenging her to provide any evidence and denied wrongdoing. However, Ogala has since apologised, stating, “I tender my sincere apology to Akpororo. Whatever I said was said in anger. Any misconception it must have caused, please find it in your heart to forgive.”
