According to Ireporter Online, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced plans to host a free concert in Osogbo on April 24, as part of activities ahead of the 2026 governorship election. The governor disclosed the development via his official X account on Wednesday, describing the event as a unifying and non-partisan gathering aimed at residents across political divides.

He stated that the concert would feature his son, B-Red, alongside several other established and emerging artistes from within and outside the state. Adeleke emphasized that the initiative is open to all residents irrespective of party affiliation, noting that supporters of Accord, ADC, APC, LP, and PDP are all welcome to participate in what he described as a celebration of collective Osun identity.

The governor further revealed that the event, tagged a “Get Out to Vote” concert, will take place at the Technical Field in Osogbo, with free admission for attendees. He encouraged residents to turn out in large numbers, enjoy the entertainment, and actively participate in the democratic process.

Other artistes billed to perform include Peruzzi, CDQ, May D, Sir Shina Peters, and Sina Rambo, among others, including upcoming talents from Osun State.

The announcement comes shortly after the governor appointed his nephew, Davido, as Head of Youth Mobilisation for his re-election campaign. The Osun governorship election is scheduled to hold on August 8, 2026, with Adeleke linking the concert to efforts aimed at boosting voter participation across the state.
