Late Oyo Governor Ajimobi’s Brother Passes Away In London
According to Ireporter Online, the Ajimobi family has been plunged into mourning following the death of Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi, the younger brother of former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. He was reported to have died in London on Thursday at the age of 67, marking another painful loss for the family six years after the passing of the former governor in 2020.
Reports indicate that details surrounding the cause of death were yet to be disclosed as of the time of filing this report, while the family had not issued an official statement on the development.
The late Teslim Ajimobi was known for his involvement in both politics and business. In 2017, he served as the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area in Oyo State, where he played a role in grassroots governance and community development. He was also active in the private sector, with business interests spanning Nigeria and abroad, including leadership roles in companies such as London-based Teslis Global Services Ltd.
His passing adds to a series of tragedies that have struck the Ajimobi family in recent years, including the death of the former governor’s daughter. Family members, friends, and associates are said to be deeply saddened, remembering him for his public service, business engagements, and interpersonal relationships.
