I’ve Suffered Over 10 Miscarriages’ – Doris Ogala Opens Up

Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has opened up about the difficult personal experiences she faced before the end of her marriage.

According to Ireporter Online, Ogala shared details of her personal life while appearing on The Clarity Zone podcast hosted by Nedu Wazobia.

During the interview, she was asked who would occupy the position of Abia State’s “first man” should she emerge as governor in the 2027 election.

Responding to the question, Ogala disclosed that she is currently single and revealed that her marriage ended in 2022 after she experienced more than 10 miscarriages.

The actress became emotional while recounting the challenges she faced during the period, describing the repeated pregnancy losses as one of the most difficult experiences of her life.

Ogala also disclosed that she previously dated Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, popularly known as Liberation City.

According to her, their relationship lasted from 2017 to 2019 before she eventually got married.

She explained that the repeated miscarriages placed significant strain on her marriage and contributed to the eventual collapse of the union in 2022.

Ogala said, “I’m single now. I dated Pastor Chris Okafor from 2017 to 2019 and then I got married, but my marriage still crashed in 2022 because I had over 10 miscarriages.”

The actress has since moved on from the experience and is now focused on her political ambitions, having emerged as the AAC governorship candidate for Abia State ahead of the 2027 election.
