Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, September 7, 2026
The Nigerian naira maintained its position against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange market, according to the latest available figures.
According to Ireporter Online, data from the Central Bank of Nigeria showed that the local currency exchanged at ₦1,321.2160 to one dollar, unchanged from the previous trading rate.
The stability at the official market contrasts with developments in the parallel market, where the dollar was reportedly sold at about ₦1,400.
However, exchange rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change operators and other foreign exchange dealers may vary from official reference figures due to transaction margins, as well as prevailing demand and supply conditions.
Market observers are expected to continue monitoring the volume of foreign exchange inflows, demand for the dollar and policy decisions by the Central Bank of Nigeria in the coming weeks.
These factors are expected to play a significant role in determining whether the naira can maintain its position against the dollar as trading continues through the month.
