APC’s National Publicity Director, Bala Ibrahim, stated in an interview with IREPORTERONLINE that Nigeria is still suffering from the “16-year misrule” of the PDP. He argued that the opposition party has failed to manage itself, let alone govern the country effectively.

“The PDP is in disarray, and Nigerians should be grateful they were voted out. The APC remains committed to progressive governance, unlike the PDP, which is struggling with internal leadership battles,” Ibrahim said.

He dismissed allegations that the APC was behind the PDP’s troubles, asserting that the ruling party has no involvement in the opposition’s ongoing crises.

Meanwhile, in Bauchi, key PDP leaders from the North East met to discuss reconciliation efforts and strategies for the 2027 elections. However, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was notably absent.

Governors Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), and Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), alongside other PDP leaders, attended the meeting to chart a path forward for the opposition party.
