The family of renowned Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has raised concerns over his sudden disappearance.

Reports indicate that 2Baba left home on February 10 in his loungewear, without his bodyguard. His family initially assumed he had gone for a walk but became alarmed when he failed to return.

Adding to their concerns, some of the singer’s friends claim to have received messages from him requesting financial assistance—an unusual act, as he is known to be financially stable.

The family also noted that 2Baba has been absent from his usual music and studio sessions, which is highly unusual for him. They have called on law enforcement agencies to intensify efforts in locating the music legend.

Meanwhile, 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, has made a passionate appeal, urging Nigerians to intervene and asking Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to distance herself from her son.

In a viral video, she tearfully attributed her son’s erratic behavior to the emotional stress of his ongoing divorce from Annie Idibia, pleading with fellow mothers to help bring her son back home.
