She shared her perspective by saying, “HE ONLY MOVED TO A BETTER PLACE WHERE HE FINDS COMFORT AND GENUINE PEACE OF MIND.” Rita Edochie lamented that she frequently hears such comments, which she finds heart-wrenching, especially when they come from women.
Rita Edochie then offered a prayer, stating, “WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP / MARRIAGE HAS GOTTEN TO IT’S PEAK, I MEAN A LEVEL WHEN YOU AND YOUR KIDS MAY NEED HIS ATTENTION THE MOST, MAY HE LEAVE YOU TO GO THAT BETTER PLACE WHERE HE FINDS COMFORT AND GENUINE PEACE OF MIND. HEAVEN WILL ALWAYS PAY YOU IN YOUR OWN COIN.”
In essence, she wished that those who justify men leaving their families in search of supposed comfort and peace would experience a similar situation themselves, suggesting that they would be paid back in kind by heaven.
