Atiku Didn’t Reply To Our Invitation – Chatham House

The Chatham House director of Africa Programme, Alex Vines, has revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has not responded to the institute’s invitation.

Mr Vines stated this in his opening remarks on Monday while hosting the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, at Chatham House in London.

He stated that the independent policy institute had previously hosted All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.

On January 17 and 18, the institute will host the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, respectively.

“We have sent an invitation to the candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar but he is yet to reply to our invitation,” the director said.
