BREAKING: Appeal Court Delivers Ruling On Judgement Banning Rivers APC Candidates From 2023 Polls
On Thursday, the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, overturned a Federal High Court decision that barred all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates from running in the State’s general elections in 2023.
While delivering judgment in a suit brought against the APC by George Orlu and four others, the Federal High Court, presided over by Hon. Justice Emmanuel Obile, held that the party did not follow due process in electing delegates who voted for the candidates during the party’s primaries.
