BREAKING: What Transpired When Israeli Troops Raided West Bank Home Of Hamas Deputy Leader

In a significant operation on Saturday, Israeli forces conducted a raid at the West Bank residence of Saleh al-Aruri, a prominent leader within Hamas.

Al-Aruri holds the position of deputy to Hamas’ overall leader, Ismail Haniyeh, and is known for being one of the founding members of the group’s military wing.

This operation was jointly carried out by Israeli troops and the Shin Bet internal security service. As a result, more than 20 individuals, including members of al-Aruri’s family, were apprehended.

The army confirmed that the targeted residence was utilized for the detention and interrogation of activists.

Saleh al-Aruri, who was appointed as Haniyeh’s deputy in 2017, has been the subject of allegations by Israel, accusing him of orchestrating various attacks. Notably, al-Aruri spent nearly two decades confined in Israeli prisons before his release in 2010, under the condition that he live in exile.

Since the eruption of the Gaza conflict, there have been multiple incidents involving Israeli forces within the occupied West Bank, resulting in casualties and heightened tensions in the region. This latest raid underscores the ongoing complexities and challenges in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
