Buba Celebrates Speaker Gbajabiamila at 59

Describes Him as Political Sage, Bridge Builder and Unifier of a Heterogeneous Nigeria

Chairman, Committee on Foreign Affairs, House of Representatives,Rt. Hon.( Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub, has congratulated Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila on his birthday, describing the highly cerebral Lawyer and astute lawmaker as an epitome of wisdom, political sagacity and a Unifier of a heterogeneous Nigeria.

In a birthday message titled
“SUPER BIRTHDAY WISHES TO A RESOURCEFUL LEADER, BUILDER OF MEN AND BRIDGE FOR A HETEROGENEOUS NIGERIA”, which was released at his National Assembly office, Friday, the Gombi/ Hong Rep extolled the virtues, which he said, that Speaker Gbajabiamila represents to his numerous admirers, well-wishers and supporters across the globe.

Rt. Hon. Oluwafemi Hakeem Gbajabiamala, who represents Surulere 1 Federal Constituency of Lagos State, remains one of the longest-serving and most experienced lawmakers in the entire National Assembly. He was first elected in 2003 and has traversed the entire gamut of the major positions in the House of Representatives, where he at various times held the positions of Minority Leader, Majority Leader and now Speaker.

This lawmaker and lawyer of many years standing, who graduated from the prestigious University of Lagos and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in the United States of America, turns 59 today.
