Children’s Day: Moses Omo-Ikirodah Celebrates Nigerian Children Urges Government To Live To Its Responsibility.
Moses Omo-Ikirodah has sent soothing words to all Nigerian children in celebration of this year’s Children’s day. He reminded the children of how proud they have represented the Nigerian parents and called for sufficient protection by the Government.
“I heartily celebrate and felicitate with all Nigerian children on the occasion of this year’s Children’s Day celebration.
They have made us proud parents, the envy of all others. Our children have been so amazing even in these difficult times of a global pandemic and tough living conditions. I urge our children to keep steadfast to the Nigeria dream and remain focused as better days are ahead of us all.”
Moses called on the Government to live up to its responsibilities in providing and protecting the Nigerian child. He frowned at the high mortality rate of childbirth prevalent today and the insecurity hovering around schools, especially in the North.
“Poor access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) remains a major challenge to the Nigerian child, Government must confront these challenges and ensure that the Nigerian child is well protected and provided for.
It is unfortunate that our schools have become unsafe due to threats from kidnappers and bandits, it is expedient that the Government does all within its capacity to protect our children from violence and external attacks.
The Nigerian child deserves access to quality education, good health care and government support in the provision of basic amenities of life.
No matter the challenges you face as children have it behind your minds that you have everything it takes to get to the top, you were born for greatness, signs and wonders shall never depart from you, happy children’s day.”
