Dammy Twitch’s Call Of My Life Arrives In Cinemas On May 15
According to Ireporter Online, Call of My Life, a romantic comedy directed by Dammy Twitch, is set to premiere in Nigerian cinemas on May 15, 2026. The announcement was made by Bluhouse Studios in a recent statement.
The film tells the story of Soluchi (Uzoamaka Power), a call centre agent and hopeless romantic still nursing the wounds of a past heartbreak caused by her former lover, Kalu (Zubby Michael). Her life takes an unexpected turn when a routine customer call introduces her to the charming Eli (Andrew Bunting), opening the door to a potential new love story.
The ensemble cast includes celebrated actors Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, Justin UG, and Broda Shaggi, with live musical performances by Johnny Drille and Cobhams Asuquo.
This marks Dammy Twitch’s first feature film, following his work directing music videos for top Nigerian artists such as Davido, as well as short films like the 2023 drama I Hate It Here, which explored domestic violence. Speaking on the film, Twitch said, “My life has been shaped by love, so choosing a romance story for my first film was instinctive. I wanted it to reflect my heart, which has always been rooted in love and happiness. I hope the movie finds a place in everyone’s heart.”
Produced by Blessing Uzzi under Bluhouse Studios, the screenplay was written by Uzoamaka Power, who has also penned short films including My Body, God’s Temple. Call of My Life was shot across Abuja, Enugu, and Lagos, and will be distributed by Filmone.
