Dollar Hits Naira Today! Check April 7th’s Rate Now
The black market, also known as the parallel market, recorded a Dollar to Naira exchange rate of ₦1,425 for sales and ₦1,412 for purchases in Lagos on Monday, April 6, 2026, according to sources at Bureau De Change operators. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market and has reiterated that individuals seeking foreign currency should conduct transactions through authorized banks.
On the official CBN market, the Dollar exchanged at a high of ₦1,385 and a low of ₦1,373. Market experts caution that actual rates for buying or selling foreign exchange may vary from these figures due to fluctuations in demand and supply.
