DSS To Meet Oil Marketers Amid Soaring Fuel Prices Across Nigeria!

The President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) disclosed this during an interview with DAILY POST on Monday. Although he did not provide specific details, he confirmed that the meeting will focus on the petrol pump price and its accessibility to marketers.

He said, “I have a meeting with the DSS on Wednesday. It concerns the petrol pump price and its availability, particularly to IPMAN members.”

When pressed for further information, he added, “I will be able to share more details after the meeting.”

This meeting comes at a time when Nigerians are grappling with fuel prices ranging from N950 to N1,200 per liter across the country. The development follows reports on Monday that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has ceased its role as the sole off-taker of Dangote petrol.

In September, Dangote Refinery began petrol distribution, coinciding with NNPCL’s increase in petrol pump prices.
