Edo 2024: Senator Monday Okpebholo Takes The Mantle

Prior to 2020 Gubernatorial election in Edo State, The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) promised Edolites the moon and sensing the dangers inherent in their diabolic antics to grab political power The All Progressive Congress (APC) embarked on sensitization tour to call the attention of our people to this ploy, but lots of people pay deaf ear hook, line and sinker and where saying 4+4 torgba but today they regret the course of action.

Now the die is cast, Edolites doubtless, have been jolted out of consuming delusions as we prepare to elect new leaders to lead us in the coming years. It’s time we took urgent steps to plan for a better future for Edolites in the selection of credible leaders

According to Prof. Mark Cicero, “To stumble twice against the same stone is a proverbial disgrace.” Obaseki and PDP came in on the build up to Edo Gubernatorial in the appearance of Esau but in the deceptive voice of Jacob and deceive Edolites. All that is in the past now and we brace for even darker days if we do not withdraw our support from a failed leadership Of Obaseki who has brought out his godson to continue from where he stop

Never in history have we heard that our Reverend Monarch is been subjected to ridicule or being told on how to lead his people but just yesterday Obaseki who is a stranger is towing that line and he has brought out his godson to continue in that line, are we going to fold our hands and allow stranger toil with our heritage? God almighty and the ancestors forbid.

They have come again with lies and deceit on whose back they rode to power in 2020 but the time to stop them is now by electing credible leaders full of empathy and truth, not an orator full of lies and deceit who want to govern people he does not have empathy for.

As we prepare for September 21st 2024 when we will all come out to elect a new leaders, it is time we identified with who we can trust to provide us with good and qualitative leadership, who really knows and understand the pains and yearning of Edolites, and not with a stranger who has no base here in Edo State but looking for ways to cause pain for the people.

I have listened attentively to all of them in Edo Gubernatorial race 2024 none appealed more to me than Senator Monday Okpebholo the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC). That young man, without an iota of doubt, has the capacity to deliver the goods when given the tools. He is not only very young and energetic but so intelligence which I often stand in owe of. He is a man of few words who God has endowed with so much wisdom to lead, he is a human symbol that overflows with regenerative ideas to lift Edo State to Olympian heights. The race to Edo 2024, Senator Monday Okpebholo takes the mantle.

However, it is very unfortunate that these rampaging band of locusts are regrouping under the command of Godwin Obaseki, lets us not flirt with their plans, decisions, actions and inactions that will mar the future of our state as we proceed to elect a new leaders, but stand strong in unity to send them parking by giving our full support to Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa of the All Progressive Congress (APC)

I made bold to say that the crying blunders we have collectively made as a people should on no account be remade, I mean costly ones which we now rue by canvassing support for a generation of the most perfidious poster Homo-sapiens of Nigeria’s corrupt oligarchy in Edo State.

Like i said before, the All Progressive Congress (APC) in my own conviction is a young man with the capacity to lead, he cannot be swayed by normative ethnic maneuvers, and under his dynamic leadership, Edo will be rescued from the deadly grip of certain taskmasters under whose watch our dear State has been bastardize.

Vote wisely, vote Senator Monday Okpebholo for he takes the mantle of leadership.
