The anti-graft agency’s Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, revealed these developments in the March edition of the EFCC’s monthly e-magazine, EFCCAlert. Olukoyede emphasized the gravity of the case, noting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decisive action in suspending Edu and Shehu underscores the government’s commitment to combating corruption.

Olukoyede outlined the complexities of the investigation, explaining that uncovering financial improprieties requires meticulous scrutiny and adherence to legal protocols. He reassured the public that the EFCC is diligently pursuing the case, leveraging the expertise of its professionals to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.

The chairman elaborated on the depth of the investigation, disclosing that over 50 bank accounts have been identified for scrutiny due to their suspected involvement in illicit financial activities.
