According to Ireporter Online, the Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation has instructed the Nigeria Police Force to ensure that actress Doris Ogala is formally produced before the Federal High Court in Lagos to face charges.

The directive was issued to the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, with orders to ensure her appearance in court over a case marked FHC/L/220C/2026.

The case involves the founder of Grace Nation International Foundation, Chris Okafor, formerly known as Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, and is presided over by Justice Akintayo Aluko. The matter had earlier been scheduled for arraignment on April 14, 2026. Court records indicate that Ogala is currently on administrative bail.

Court documents obtained by QED reveal that the Federal Government has filed four counts against the actress under the Cybercrimes Act. She is alleged to have unlawfully shared explicit and private images of the cleric without consent and to have made defamatory claims linking him to rape, ritual activities, and a death.

She is further accused of circulating messages and video content purportedly intended to harass and pressure the cleric, as well as issuing threats to continue publishing damaging materials unless financial demands, including money or property, were met.

Authorities have stated that efforts are ongoing to locate and serve her with the charges ahead of her scheduled court appearance.
