Emir Sanusi emphasized that the struggle against those attempting to instigate violence in Kano is a divine one, and he prayed that their actions would backfire upon them.

He prayed for the protection of peaceful individuals and called upon divine retribution for those who seek to disrupt the harmony in Kano.

ireporteronline reports that Sanusi made these remarks in response to the Appeal Court ruling on Friday, January 10, 2025, which directed the Chief Judge of Kano to assign a new judge to review the case involving the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, the Kano State Government, the 16th Emir, Muhammad Sanusi II, and the Kano State Assembly.

“This battle is not ours, but God’s. His justice is absolute, and we must trust in His guidance. Let us continue to pray for His protection. May God shield us, and whoever seeks to cause chaos in Kano, may their desires turn against them.”

“To those wishing harm upon Kano and its people, let them face the consequences of their actions. They may try to provoke unrest, but we must remain steadfast in peace. Whoever challenges God’s will will inevitably face the repercussions,” Sanusi said.
