In a press briefing in Birnin Kebbi, the party’s publicity secretary, Jamilu Muhammed, stated that the suspended executives had been making decisions without consulting the broader party leadership. He accused them of allowing influence from external “nomadic politicians” based in Abuja, a move opposed by the party’s founding members.

Muhammed emphasized, “We will not, after tailoring the party to its present status, allow Abuja politicians to dominate it.” The decision to suspend the trio followed an extraordinary meeting convened by loyal ADC members and long-standing stakeholders determined to protect the party’s integrity.
