Due to a time constraint, only 16 commissioner nominees were present during the screening process, introducing themselves, taking a bow, and exiting without fielding questions from the lawmakers. The Speaker of the House, Alhaji Umar Yusuf, commended the thoroughness of the screening, describing the nominees as credible and qualified individuals poised to contribute to the development of Kogi State.

He urged the nominees to live up to the expectations of Governor Ododo and play instrumental roles in steering the state to greater heights.
