Lagos Enforces Strict Security Measures In Anticipation Of Nationwide Protests
The Lagos State Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Shola Jejeloye, on Saturday, July 27, conducted an all-night convoy patrol covering major areas in the city.
Ireporteronline reports that this operation, similar to last week’s patrol, aimed to deter criminal activities through visible policing and to bolster security in light of planned nationwide protests set to occur from August 1 to 10.
The operation spanned key areas, including Ikeja, Oshodi, Mushin, Akala, Ojuelegba, Surulere, Alaka, Costain, Eko Bridge, Apongbon, Marina, Victoria Island, and the Lekki Toll Gate.
