In an exclusive statement at The Experience 2024 music concert, Bliss shared the details of Ebuka’s early departure, revealing that the artist left the label just 11 months into a three-year contract. Despite the breach, Bliss emphasized that there are no hard feelings between them.

Bliss said, “Ebuka came to me and expressed a desire to pursue his music independently. We had a three-year contract, but he felt led to go in a different direction. After praying about it, I gave him my blessing to move on.”

He continued, “There’s no animosity. We are not fighting. My mission has always been for the gospel to be heard and for people to have the opportunity to minister. I truly wish Ebuka the best in his journey, and I’m happy to have been a part of his growth.”

Bliss reiterated that the goal has always been to uplift Jesus through their work, and that despite the contract’s early termination, they remain focused on that mission.
