NAF Airstrikes Wipe Out Terrorist Bases In Borno

The Air Force confirmed that the operation was executed following credible Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance reports which pinpointed identified terrorist locations in the region. Acting on these findings, coordinated airstrikes were launched against the targets, resulting in the destruction of key operational facilities used by the insurgents.

Military authorities further disclosed that several fighters were neutralised in the strikes, with the attacks significantly weakening the operational capacity of the terrorist groups in the area. The sustained air offensives were also said to be creating increasing fear and confusion among insurgent elements operating across the Sambisa axis.

Intelligence assessments reportedly indicate growing disorientation and apprehension within terrorist ranks, as continuous bombardments have restricted their movement and denied them safe havens for regrouping.

The Air Force reiterated its commitment to sustained collaboration with ground troops under Operation Hadin Kai (Operation Hadin Kai) and other security agencies, noting that the objective remains to maintain relentless pressure on terrorist networks while ensuring the protection of civilians and the restoration of lasting peace in the North-East.
