NDA Releases 78RC Admission List, Gives Successful Candidates Deadline

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has released the list of successful and reserve candidates for the 78 Regular Combatant Course (78RC), directing successful candidates to report to the Academy’s Ribadu Campus in Kaduna on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The Academy warned that candidates who fail to report by Monday, September 14, 2026, will forfeit their admission slots.

The directive was contained in a statement signed by the NDA Registrar, Brigadier General OA Ogunleye, and published on the Academy’s official X handle on Wednesday.

The admission list followed the Armed Forces Selection Board exercise for the 78 Regular Course, which was conducted between July 4 and August 19, 2026.

According to the Academy, only candidates offered admission are required to report, and they are expected to present themselves at the Drill Shed, NDA Old Site, Ribadu Cantonment, Kaduna.

Candidates on the reserve list may be invited subsequently if vacancies become available. The Academy said such candidates would be contacted through the email addresses and telephone numbers provided during registration.

Successful candidates have also been directed to report with the original copies of their required credentials, including their First School Leaving Certificate, Primary School Testimonial, WAEC/NECO results, Senior Secondary School Testimonial, Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, Letter of State of Origin and a duly endorsed Parent/Guardian Consent Form.

The Academy stressed that photocopies of the required documents would not be accepted and warned that candidates who fail to present the originals would not be admitted.

Candidates are also expected to arrive with specified clothing, footwear, sports equipment, bedding and other personal items required for their training at the Academy.

In addition, all successful candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal before reporting. Those who were not offered admission into their preferred academic department are required to log into the JAMB portal and make the necessary change.

The Academy further directed all successful candidates to accept their admission through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before reporting.

Meanwhile, the NDA said successful candidates would not be allowed to receive visitors or leave the Academy during the first three months of their training.

The Academy urged successful candidates and their parents or guardians to adhere strictly to all admission requirements and ensure that the candidates report within the stipulated period to avoid forfeiting their admission.
