Never Take Sides Against The Family: Implications Of South-West Governors Visit To The Capon, Asiwaju Tinubu

South-West Governors Forum Chairman and Ondo State Gov, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) on why he visited Tinubu in London a while ago.

Yesterday he led the South-West governors inclusive of the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, who is a PDP member to visit the Jagaban at his residence at Ikoyi. I would try and be as candid as I can with this article. Permit me to shed more light on the status of Tinubu’s leadership. Yes, I may be petty and proverbial but I speak the truth.

The quest for Tinubu’s presidency by different groups, individuals, camps etc varies according to each and everyone’s interest. To some people, it’s a means to an end, to others it makes them belong, and for some Tinubu is the messiah to change the country, different strokes for different folks.

Personally, I have known Tinubu all my life when I started following his activism, my major prayer in life is to be like him from my own vantage perspective, I see a leader who is committed, focussed, organized and an embodiment of success, whatever you see him as is your own business, after all, my people go say Monkey no fine but the mama like am.

“See finish” at times makes some people envious of their fellow brothers and sisters and then insinuate all sorts of rubbish because of hatred, I would concentrate my time on making jest of these Tinubu haters. Most times they act so dumbly that I feel they have turned blind and can no longer see.

Imagine the stale story of Tinubu would be rejected by the Hausa and Fulani’s, I always smile and shake my head when I see people who are ignorant cast aspersions on Tinubu just because he’s not their chosen candidate for 2023( funny enuff these people no get candidate sef.)

Well, bad belle is allowed, now ask them who in Nigeria is commanding such attention? Even the president does not have such attention presently.

Anyway, let me tell you the significance of the South West Governors visit to Tinubu yesterday. You see in the political world if you like call it the Mafia world is left for you when person don begin dey beef him fellow broda e go begin see evil for everything wey the broda dey do.

Na those kind people we dey call world people. Benin man go say AZEN i.e  “Witch”.

Today in Nigeria fear no let anybody make one single political decision without say dem no study Jagaban body language.

Loyalty is everything, this visit by these South West men get big meaning, no b lie o. My friend, whom I call Prof was teasing me and said the South West would reject Tinubu I just dey laugh for my mind say see dis ignoramous, reject Tinubu for who na? For Atiku or Wike ? Orisirisi.

Go and watch the Godfather again and listen to Akeredolu when he said Tinubu was their Capon, yesterday they finally decided to visit Tinubu in his Ikoyi residence to begin the process of decision making.

“Never Take Sides Against The Family” that is the first rule for consolidation in politics. The South West Governors have made a bold statement that they are in support of Tinubu and somebody says they would dump Tinubu, I guess Tinubu would be dumped for his village CHIEF, unawareness everywhere.

“There are no shortcuts to the top of the palm tree.” When Tinubu was paying his dues their heroes were busy chasing cheerleaders upadan and now the world comes knocking at Tinubu’s door they get angry.

Who in Nigeria can boast of such a visit? How many times sef governors like dat don pack go see Buhari if no be the council of state meeting or allocation palaver?

People are so shallow, maybe they think the Governors left their busy schedule to go and snap selfies with Tinubu without discussing anything of substance. And I guess the discussion they must have had was who won the last Big Brother Naija reality show or the sex tape of Tiwa Savage.

A Jewish proverb says, “Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure.” Tinubu is a faithful friend and it’s payback time.

Remember this famous quote from The Godfather?

“Do me this favour. I won’t forget it. Ask your friends in the neighbourhood about me. They’ll tell you I know how to return a favour” Tinubu has since sowed the seed of favour and its blessings are now overpouring.

You see the Japanese would tell you that “No matter how sharp it is, a knife will never cut its own handle.”

The South West can never dump Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for anybody, have they asked why the South-West leaders and traditional rulers are all behind Tinubu?

No, they won’t ask because they are full of hate, is it not when someone is so good he gets favoured and goodwill from all quarters? Name one EVIL MAN today that has such patronage from Nigerians all over? But hatred would not let them see beyond the tip of their noses.

Is that how evil men in their community gets prominent visitors? The thieves they know is that how they get celebrated? The looters they can identify is that how they are appreciated? The common man, the street man, the politicians, the captains of industries are identifying openly with Tinubu and people masturbating on dumping Asiwaju, a bunch of jokers.

Awon haters, your hate would not stop the love people have for Tinubu, he is a pacesetter that has made Nigeria and Nigerians proud, love him or hate him on his mandate we shall STAND.

Clarence Francis once said and I quote “You cannot buy loyalty; you cannot buy the devotion of hearts, minds, and souls. You have to earn these things.”

You don’t earn loyalty in a day. You earn loyalty day-by-day, as e dey pepper una say Tinubu dey soar higher na so e dey sweet our belle.

Na Tinubu I stand with, I no defraud anybody, I no kill anybody.
