Minaj made the remarks during the Trump Accounts Summit, where she also expressed backing for the “Trump Accounts” initiative, a program designed to provide trust funds for children. Wearing a furry white coat, she stated, “I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change. And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. He has a lot of force behind him and God is protecting him. Amen.”

During the summit, Trump, who had earlier joked about growing his nails to emulate Minaj’s style, held her hand as she spoke. Minaj additionally pledged to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to the Trump Accounts program, reinforcing her commitment to supporting children through the initiative.

In recent months, Minaj has continued her activism on global issues. In November, she made a surprise appearance at the United Nations, calling for an end to faith-based persecution in Nigeria—a claim raised by the Trump administration, which the Nigerian government subsequently denied.
